Our university's reputation reflection of our behavior
In my four years here at Penn State I have seen our school go from a proud institution to one of disgrace. I was once proud that I am a Penn Stater, but now I am ashamed. Family and friends have been asking about Sex Faire and riots. Even employers are taking note. I was in a job interview the day after the riots. When my interviewer saw I went to Penn State, he immediately asked about the riots. Because I was not in town, I didn't know what he was talking about. Thankfully, every news program in the country showed it Saturday night. The actions of a misguided few have a harmful impact on all students here. In case some of you do not know, employers look at the reputation of your school. With every riot or harmful event, our reputation is tarnished. There are ways of having fun without putting our school on national news. I'd just like to thank all of the thoughtless and drunken rioters for making it harder for all of us to get jobs and making our degrees worthless.
