As a Penn State graduate, I am angered by the actions of those students who participate in these riots. The reputation of the university is becoming more and more tarnished after each incident. What pleasure could one possible get out of destroying property in their own town and at their school?

While I am glad to hear that the local law enforcement officials are making arrests, I can only hope the punishments dealt become more severe. We do not need these students as members of our university any longer. I can understand the first riot — people were intoxicated and they got caught up mayhem — but there is no longer an excuse for this behavior! The students should now realize that participating in these actions will ruin their college years.

Try explaining to mom and dad that you cost them their tuition money because you got kicked out school for destroying the town you now live in! It's time for Penn State students to grow up!
