Most of students orderly; some officers overreacted

I am writing to complain about the so-called riots that occurred early Saturday after the men's basketball team lost to Temple. The majority of the students were following the officers' orders and going where they were told to go. I walked in the direction that I was told to, and I, along with many other Penn State students, was sprayed with pepper spray for no reason along. In my opinion, the police were taking the whole situation way out of proportion.

The student body was merely celebrating the fact that Penn State made it to the Sweet 16. I had previously talked with at least three police officers and they were being very professional about the situation, but others did not handle it in that manner. I feel that this is not the correct way to handle this type of situation, and something should be done about the way that the State College police dealt with this situation.
