Winnie Holzman, Emmy-nominated producer of several major television shows, is coming to Penn State.
She has produced Once and Again and has written several episodes of thirtysomething.
She was also the creator and co-executive producer of the hit show My So-Called Life.
Holzman will be speaking at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Carnegie Cinema. Admission is free and open to the public.
In addition to her extensive television credits, she has worked on the film 'Til There Was You.
Most recently, Holzman has been producing a musical adaptation of the novel Wicked in collaboration with songwriter Stephen Schwartz.
During her week in Happy Valley, Holzman will be visiting many film and video and media studies classes in the College of Communications to talk to students about her work in the entertainment industry.
