[Thursday,
March 22, 2001 ] Today's
University Park forecast
Lingering rain or snow showers will hang
around early in the day as a Noreaster moves out of
the region. Otherwise, it will remain mostly cloudy and
windy today. Some sunshine will break through tomorrow,
but the clouds will return early in the weekend as a
front moves through the area. High pressure will build in
early next week, providing a return to sunshine.

Highlight
Even though the calendar says its
Spring, you wouldnt know it by looking outside. A
Noreaster racing up the coast brought up to 8
inches of snow in northern Alabama, 2 feet of snow in the
mountains of North Carolina, and a wintry mix to Happy
Valley. After wreaking havoc the past two days in the
mid-Atlantic region, it now has its sights set on New
England.
