Police Log

  • Traffic Accident: A Penn State employee reported at 9 a.m. Monday damage to university landscape near Holuba Hall, Penn State Police Services said. The damage is estimated at $300.

  • Rules and Regulations: Penn State police discovered a pistol in the car of a student who struck a university vehicle Monday. Police said the student had a license; however, being in possession of a gun while on university property is in violation of rules and regulations.

  • Terroristic Threats: A staff member reported at 5 p.m. Monday that a male student in a class at the Thomas Building threatened everyone in the class, Penn State police said. Police would not comment on the nature of the threat and would not release details, explaining that the case is still under investigation.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
