Radical environmentalists simply lack common sense

Well imagine that, another left-wing column from the Board of Opinion that fails to pass the test of common sense. I have read some horrible opinion pieces by the board, but this is by far the worst ever.

When will these knucklehead liberals finally figure out that there extremist environmentalist views are destroying the industry infrastructure of this country? There is a good reason why President Bush has decided not to implement his carbon dioxide plan for coal power plants. If he did implement any further restrictions to these plants they would have to cut back on energy production. That means that the currently strapped power infrastructure will not have enough supply to meet demand. And for the liberals who lack the simple brain capacity to finish this infantile logic chain, that means some people will go without power.

Without power, factories don't produce, computers don't run, assembly lines stop, and that means that industry in this country ceases to operate. When industry ceases to operate, that means they don't make money and when they don't make money, they are forced to lay off workers. This raises the unemployment rate and leaves many low to middle income people without work and pushes them closer to poverty.

You would think after the power problems in California that these radical environmentalists would start to realize that excessive regulations are causing a real and not easily correctable problem in this country. But maybe when industry starts moving out of these heavily regulated areas all the workers will thank the radical environmentalists for the loss of their jobs and lively hood. Maybe the Board of Opinion should consider "that decisions today will have a greater affect on Americans tomorrow."
