Sheik Abdullah Idris Ali will speak at 7 p.m. today in 358 Willard Building.

Ali is the former president of the Islamic Society of North America. He is the director of Universal Foundations, Inc., and travels throughout the world, speaking and lecturing.

The speech will be hosted by the Muslim Students Association of Penn State.

"He's an excellent speaker, which was why we wanted him to come and speak here," said Sobia Chaudhry, president of the Muslim Students Association. "He's going to talk about keeping Muslim values alive in our society and what it's like to be a Muslim student living in this community."

The free event is open to all students.
