The Center for Women Students Resource Room will screen a video about the Clothesline Project at noon today in 122 Boucke.
The Clothesline Project is a community program to increase awareness of violence against women. Survivors of violence and friends and families of victims create T-shirts to explain their own experiences, which are displayed publicly on clotheslines.
A short film describing the history of the project with interviews with survivors and reactions to the displays will be shown. Those in attendance will have a discussion afterwards.
The video is being run as a part of Women's History Month.
