The Penn State Lady Icers travel to take on the University of Buffalo tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon. In their last meeting, the Lady Icers were victorious with a 5-0 shutout.
Jeannine Kausch will be in goal for both games, as Jessica Gurskey is out with an injury. This will look new to Buffalo who faced Gurskey in the previous game.
"We are going to keep generally the same approach we have used in the past," Penn State coach Billie Willits said. "We will try to shoot the puck more. We need that for nationals."
Willits said that for this weekend the lines will look different. Also, she said the team will be working on increasing their speed and quickness a bit.
Since the two teams last came in contact with each other, Buffalo has had a chance to work on improving their game.
"I think they will adjust to the amount of shots we took," forward Lauren Shaw said. "We can get around that. We can get around their defense."
These will be the last games played by the Lady Icers before the Mid-Atlantic Women's Collegiate Hockey Association tournament on March 30.
