In response to Matt McLaughlin's objection to large numbers of PSU alumni writing letters to the student newspaper, the reason that alumni and other adults should write letters to the Collegian editor is really quite simple. Readers of a publication are usually the ones who write letters to the editor. It happens that a lot of readers of the Collegian are alumni and other adult members of the community. I read the Collegian because of what is said, not because of who said it.
