Police Log

  • Fraud: A State College man told police yesterday he sent $426 to an Internet company for a computer, which he has yet to receive, the State College Police Department said.

  • Health and Safety: A coordinator in Holmes Hall reported that a student received a package in the mail yesterday which was soaked in diesel fuel, Penn State Police Services said.

  • Theft: Kaufmann's Department Store, 2901 E. College Ave, reported yesterday afternoon about $440 worth of stolen merchandise, State College police said.



In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
