Saint's Café to feature songwriters in showcase

A local songwriters' showcase night will take place at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Saint's Café, 123 W. Beaver Ave.

The show will include four performers, according to a press release, and they are as follows:

Kate Cervino, lead singer of the local band Finster, will be among the songwriters featured. She has recently been performing regularly in the State College area as a solo act.

Steve Buckalew, favored in local folk music circles for his multi-instrumental work with the traditional/international group Steele Hollow, will be performing his own material.

Jon Rounds is already well known among local music fans. He is a former member of Cartoon and the Rounds Brothers Band. He will be performing selections from his three-decade catalog of original songs.

Stacy Tibbetts has been performing for seven years in the State College area as a solo songwriter and with the acoustic duo Driftwood. He will be performing songs from his upcoming CD release, Alleyways.

For more information, call (814) 238-5707 (Saints Café) or (814) 238-5292 (Stacy Tibbetts).
