Recent incidents at PSU reveal a 'moral collapse'
I fail to be surprised at some of the recent incidents at PSU (main campus): drunken rioting, embezzlement, a Sex Faire with blunt discussions of female genitalia, etc. Of course, it is easy to blame Penn State President Spanier for not handling the situation properly (according to some). It is easier yet to hide much immorality under the cloak of "the freedom of speech." This freedom of speech applies to me as a Christian also: I am quite appalled at the incredible moral slide (read: "collapse") in most of our institutions of higher learning. The more we categorically reject the biblical morality of many of our nation's forebears as a standard for living, the sooner will be our internal collapse, even as was true of the Roman Empire some 1500 years ago.
