Talk about Sex Faire old; other issues are important
Being the frequent Collegian reader that I am, I could not help but notice that in the past few weeks I have not once been able to pick up the paper without seeing some reference to Sex Faire. In fact, on numerous occasions, one can find an article on every stinking page about it. No matter what your personal views of this event might be, the fact remains that it happened and technically it was not against the law. Therefore, if we as Americans will brag about the land of the free and the home of the brave, we must realize that sometimes you will have to endure people standing center stage touting something which makes your blood boil and your body cringe. However, this does not mean that those individuals that oppose you do not have the right to do so. Thus, my solution is that if you do not support these events, do as I did and don't go to them. Furthermore, to all who keep responding to this issue, can we please just let it go and in the words of the movie PCU say, "We're not gonna protest?" Personally, I believe if you need a cause to fight for, how about addressing how many tickets per year the parking office issues?
