Accident: Penn State student Paul Kaplan, 24, struck a car while driving on Foster Avenue, causing the car to hit a fire hydrant, the State College Police Department said.
Two adults and an infant in a car seat were riding in the car when it was hit. Police said Alpha Community Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, but the victims refused ambulance service and instead drove themselves to Centre Community Hospital. The driver and infant were treated and released.

Missing Person: A 13-year-old girl was reported missing Thursday from Stormbreak Runaway Shelter, 143 W. Fairmount Ave, State College police said. She is a white girl who is approximately 5'4" tall, has medium-build and was last seen wearing a blue coat, white shirt, white sneakers and blue jeans. Police ask anyone with information about the girl to contact the State College Police Department at 234-7150.

Theft: A State College resident reported Thursday the theft of his car, State College police said.
Police said the car, a plum colored 1997 Toyota Corolla, was stolen from Oneida Street overnight.

Theft: A HUB-Robeson Center employee reported the theft of $670 from her purse, which was unattended at the Union Street eateries, Penn State Police Services said. The theft occurred sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Theft: A Penn State student reported Wednesday the theft of his bicycle parked near Sparks Building, Penn State police said. The value of the bicycle is about $500.
