HARRISBURG — Several state representatives joined the crusade against sexually explicit student events yesterday at Penn State's House Appropriations Committee hearing.

Bob Pickrell (junior-secondary education) sent an angry e-mail Saturday night. Later he regretted it and sent an apology.

HARRISBURG — Black students have compiled a one-inch thick binder of documents showing how racism crops up repeatedly at Penn State.

Last night during the Undergraduate Student Government Senate meeting, members opened up a student safety forum for students to voice their opinions.

The Collegian Inc. Board of Directors chose the students who will lead Penn State's student newspaper into the 114th year of publication last night.

Members of the Graduate and Fixed-Term Employee Organization were denied the right to address the University Faculty Senate during its meeting yesterday in Kern Building.

A fireworks innovator, a police official and a former football coach are in the spotlight for their services to the State College community.

As students are finalizing apartment leases for next year, some may be overlooking one small, furry detail — their pets.

The American Red Cross, Centre Community Chapter, and Penn State sponsors will sponsor a Beach Party blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the HUB Alumni Hall.

Round trips from England to America aren't cheap, and they definitely aren't short. But time and money aren't a factor for Lyndy and Steve Cuff, especially when it comes to seeing their daughter, Gemma Cuff, perform as a member of the Penn State women's gymnastics team.

If there's one thing the women's lacrosse team can count on its offense for, it's balance.

There are a lot of things on paper that are pointing to a bad weekend for the Penn State wrestling team at the Big Ten Tournament, March 3-4 in Evanston, Ill.
