Highlight
While several inches of snow fell here
yesterday, this does not compare to the winter storm that
struck the coastal areas of the Mid-Atlantic region on
this date in 1987. Lancaster, PA received 24 inches of
snow, while at one point, Philadelphia received five
inches of snow in only one hour. Elsewhere, Washington,
D.C. received 15 inches of snow.
