At 7:30 p.m. today in the HUB-Robeson Center's Heritage Hall, the Lion Ambassadors are hosting the Founder's Day Ball semi-formal dance.

The Lion Ambassadors organize the Founder's Day Ball every year to celebrate the founding of Penn State in February 1885.

At 8 p.m. there will be a brief slideshow in which the founding years of Penn State will be presented.

The entire community is invited to the event. Refreshments will be served and music will be provided by Nittany Entertainment.

The president and vice president of the Undergraduate Student Government, members of the Board of Trustees and several Penn State athletes, including Joe Crispin, are expected to attend the event.

Tickets are $8 per couple or $5 per single. Tickets are on sale in the Lion Ambassador office in 100 Old Main.

Members of the Blue and White Society can purchase tickets for $5 per couple. Call 863-3752 in order to reserve tickets.
