News of a student-run event with a $50 budget in the Pollock Rec Room reached a national audience, thanks to a mention this month on Dr. Laura Schlessinger's radio show

After announcing the formation of their party and their intent to have three candidates run for State College Borough Council, organizers of the Student Party said they think the council is "patronizing" their proposed candidacies.

An Undergraduate Student Government ban placed on former USG Senate President Jason Covener in the USG constitution was recently rescinded after the USG Supreme Court found the ban to be unconstitutional.

The United States-led air strike on Iraq Friday has left some students worried and strengthened animosity toward President George W. Bush amongst some students.

Researchers at Penn State have developed a new technique using organic molecules as molecular rulers to mass fabricate ultra-tiny metal nanostructures.

A chemistry professor at Penn State Fayette has developed an interactive CD-ROM to help students learn, understand and visualize concepts and experiments in Chemistry 14 (Experimental Chemistry).

Many concerns have been raised regarding the possible link between brain cancer and using cell phones. The uneasiness rests with the radiofrequency (RF) radiation in relation to adverse health effects in humans.

Students planning trips to beaches this spring break should enjoy the sun, but not ignore the hazardous repercussions of it.
