Chishamiso Rowley will give the 11th Annual Malcolm X lecture at 7:30 p.m. today in Heritage Hall at the HUB-Robeson Center.
An assistant professor of sociology at Wayne State University, Rowley is a 1991 graduate of Penn State. While here, Rowley was the first graduate of the African American Studies program and a Black Caucus student leader and activist. After graduating, she received her doctorate in sociology from the University of Pittsburgh.
