Embezzlement accusations make students suspicious

Well, I guess if anyone has ever wondered exactly where their tuition money is going, all they would have to do is look at your headline from yesterday ("Police: PSU Worker Embezzled"). What is the problem at this university? This man was allegedly embezzling for 16 years! It took Penn State that long to discover over $300,000 was missing? That is ridiculous. Although Penn State is a relatively inexpensive school (if you live in Pennsylvania and in off-campus housing, that is), did you ever stop to ask exactly where your money is going? Sure, you know how much your student activity and computer fees are, but what else? I think this matter points out that the administration of Penn State is a little fishy itself, being that it took so long to surface in the public. So maybe it would be a good idea to question the bursar the next time you receive your semester bill to see exactly whose pockets your money is lining.
