Burglary: More than $400 worth of property was stolen Sunday morning from an unsecured apartment at 456 E. Beaver Ave., the State College Police Department said. The theft occurred between the hours of 5 and 8 a.m.

Criminal Mischief/Ethnic Intimidation: An unidentified man placed a swastika on the outside of a dorm room door on the sixth floor of Sproul Hall around 7:30 p.m. Monday, Penn State Police Services said.

Theft: A student reported Monday his bicycle was stolen from the Hammond Building, Penn State police said. The bicycle, which is valued at $400, was stolen between 6 p.m. Friday and 1:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

Theft: Someone charged more than $386 worth of goods on a credit card that was stolen from a woman's purse during a party Thursday night, State College police said. The theft occurred at 417 E. Prospect Ave. The victim discovered unauthorized purchases had been made on her card from an Internet Web site on Friday morning, police said.

Theft: Sixty compact discs were stolen from a car in a parking lot in the 1000 block of South Pugh Street last week, State College police said. The CDs are valued at $900, police said.
