Woman arraigned in connection with threat

A 45-year-old woman was arraigned yesterday for allegedly threatening to kill her sister.

Lyvonia Cunningham, also known as Vonnie, was charged with one count of terroristic threats and one count of harassment and stalking, according to a criminal complaint filed by the State College Police Department.

Police said they were called to the Executive House Apartments, 411 Waupelani Dr., where they found five other women, all of whom were frightened by Cunningham's aggressive behavior. Police spoke to Cunningham's sister, who was one of the victims. The victim said Cunningham had called her and threatened "to cut her to pieces" and kill her. She also threatened to damage her vehicle.

According to the police documents, Cunningham pulled a knife on the victim's son and threatened to kill him the day before the victim called police. The victim also told police Cunningham had not been taking her scheduled medications, which contributes to her unpredictable and violent behavior.

Police did not have a current address for Cunningham.
