Police Log

Accident: A dog was struck by a vehicle Monday on the 1100 block of S. Atherton St., the State College Police Department said. The dog died at the scene. The owner of the dog was reportedly upset and shaken by the dog's death and caused a commotion after the incident, police said.

In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
