Mortar Board, a national college honor society, is currently accepting nominations for new members.
Mortar Board recognizes college seniors for their achievements in scholarship, leadership and service. It provides opportunities for continued leadership development and promotes service to colleges and universities. It also encourages lifelong contributions to the global community.
To be eligible for Mortar Board, students must have at least junior semester standing and a minimum of one semester remaining at University Park. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher and exhibit qualities of scholarship, leadership and service.
Nomination forms and additional information are available at www.clubs.psu.edu/mortarboard. Three copies of the nomination form are due by 5 p.m. on Feb.15.
Membership decisions will be made the week of Feb. 24. New members will be notified between March 19 and 21.
