Letter to the Editor
'Real Penn Staters' value what university has given

Once again, Adam Drake has eloquently graced the opinion section of the Collegian. It comes to my great relief that he will shortly be graduating and no longer writing such garble. Mr. Drake is upset that senior classes give gifts to Penn State.

He apparently believes the Nittany Lion shrine and the Creamery are insignificant parts of our community.

He believes Penn State never gave him anything so why spend his valuable money giving back to Old State?

Well Mr. Drake, here are a few facts for you. You did not have to donate any money to the senior class gift fund.

For all of us real Penn Staters who take action when we feel strongly about something, speak to our peers face to face when we have a problem, and consider PSU more than a big football game, we have enjoyed our years here.

I personally don't think a little senior class gift can thank Penn State enough for the experience I've had.

In the future, when you get a job because of your degree at PSU, remember you gave nothing back in return.
