Today's University Park forecast
snow A cold front will pass through Happy Valley today providing clouds and snow showers which may whiten the ground in a few locations. Clouds will break on Saturday with the arrival of high pressure as temperatures remain at near seasonable levels. Another storm system will bring a chance for more precipitation by the beginning of next week.

Weather Highlight


Today is the first official Groundhog Day of the 21st century. Many people have seen the movie, “Groundhog Day,” with Bill Murray, that was released in 1993. Since then, record crowds of as many as 30,000 people have made the trek to Gobbler’s Knob to see the famous tradition.
