The Penn State Lady Icers will head to Erie this weekend for the Erie Women’s Valentine’s Tournament.

After the 2-1 loss to the Ice Panthers, Penn State coach Billie Willits spoke of the upcoming games.

"We've got a big tournament up in Erie and I expect them to come out strong," Willits said.

The Lady Icers will play the Ohio Flames at 1:10 p.m. tomorrow. Later on that night, they will take on the Chesapeake Lightning at 6:20 p.m. Penn State has another game against the Syracuse Warriors on Sunday morning at 9:20.

Also, an MVP plaque is given to one player on each of the teams playing in the championship game. The opposing team's coach will decide who gets the MVP award.

Finals for the 19 and under bracket will be played mid-afternoon on Sunday.

Penn State will return home next weekend to play Chatham College on Feb. 10.
