Letter to the Editor
Column giving girls advice funny, despite response
I got quite a kick out of Rick's column offering advice to girls. Actually, I was laughing out loud. Granted, I was getting a few looks, but I didn't care. Now Chris Babic's letter, it produced a different response confusion. I could not believe that he actually said, "If a girl doesn't want to talk to me simply because if the label on my shirt, then I don't want her talking to me in the first place." My question to everyone is, did anyone else think of the childhood saying "I'm rubber, you're glue . . .?" Another quote I loved was, "So ladies, if you want to be lonely and unhappy, then follow the advice of my close-minded classmate." Can we just back up a second? How can you be so contradicting in the same sentence? It's obvious Mr. Babic doesn't know anything about girls. I would just like Chris to know that I will not be taking his advice nor will I take the advice of Rick, but I did get a few laughs from his column, and girls like to laugh. They will always go for that guy, labels or no labels.
