Letter to the Editor
PSU versus Illinois game lacked students' support

Wednesday night's men's basketball game against Illinois was a disgrace to this school and community. No, I am not talking about how the team played. I am talking about the fan support that did not turn out. Only 9,000 people showed up to see the Nittany Lions take on the No. 6 team in the country.

I know this is a football school, but we as a school and community should show some more support toward this team instead of criticizing every move they make. I also know that not a lot of people like Jerry Dunn, but I do. He has done a good job with the talent we have and the talent we have to go against. Look out, Penn State is heading to March Madness. And by the way, we won the game against Illinois for all of you who did not make it to The Bryce Jordan Center.
