Column reassures women good guys really do exist
In response to Rick Law's column, I want to remind everyone that Rick's article was a blueprint of "observational generalizations." He wasn't talking about every guy out there. And, of course, the poser isn't necessarily the guy in the Abercrombie attire. The poser is usually the one who seems a little too sly for his own good, or maybe a little too eager to walk you home when he doesn't even remember what your name is. The column was just Rick's way to reassure women that there are good men out there. This fact is sometimes forgotten, especially when all you ever seem to meet is the poser or the lousy guy who builds himself up by making his friends look bad. Rick's column may have great overgeneralizations, but is positive nonetheless. It reminds women to be themselves and that they don't have to be half-dressed to meet someone.
