The Penn State student accused of assaulting his roommate and former girlfriend Saturday waived his right to a preliminary hearing yesterday.
Brian Dortch, 22, was charged with assault and harassment after the victim told police Dortch grabbed her from behind the neck, pushing her to the ground, resulting in a broken tooth. The victim also sustained bruises and scratches on her right arm as a result of the attack.
The case will have a pretrial conference March 22. If the case is not resolved at the conference, jury selection will begin April 9.
