Alleged Brumbaugh Hall trespasser waives hearing

The Penn State student who police say entered five unlocked dorm rooms in Brumbaugh Hall waived his preliminary hearing yesterday at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.

David Adams, 19, is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, harassment, open lewdness and recklessly endangering another person.

Because Adams waived his hearing, District Attorney Ray Gricar said a pretrial conference will be held March 22 to resolve the case. If the case does not come to a close in the conference, it will be go to trial with jury selection beginning April 9.

Adams was suspended from Penn State following his arrest and now resides in West Reading.
