Penn State student Brian Dortch was charged with assault and harassment Saturday, for pushing his roommate and former girlfriend into the door of an apartment, chipping her tooth and causing bruising, the State College Police Department said.
The victim called police about a domestic dispute early Saturday from her residence in the 500 block of W. Beaver Ave. The victim told police that Dortch grabbed her by the neck and pushed her into a door. The woman's tooth was chipped and she had bruises and scratches on her right arm, State College police said.
Dortch, 22, was released and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
