Robert W. Koehler, associate professor of accounting, was recently named the PricewaterhouseCoopers' Faculty Teaching Fellow in accounting.
PricewaterhouseCoopers is one of the largest professional service organizations in the world.
Koehler was the coordinator for the accounting internship program from 1968 to 1993.
Koehler has received the 1992 Lester L. Shonto Award for Excellence in Accounting Education, the 1994 Pennsylvania Institute of CPA's Outstanding Accounting Educator Award and the 1997 Faculty Associates Award.
Koehler, faculty advisor for Phi Sigma Kappa, was recognized in 1994 with the establishment of the Dr. Robert W. Koehler Endowment, and won the 1999 G. Kenneth Nelson Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award.
Koehler will be honored at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in a ceremony at the Nittany Lion Inn. Following the ceremony, PricewaterhouseCoopers will offer an information session for students.
