While some students search the classified ads to find the perfect apartment, others are content to call the dorms home. After four years of so-so experiences living on and off campus, fifth-year senior April Leese was ready for the proverbial "room of one's own."
Our Opinion: Beth Baumgardner and Kelly Bradish The apartments of Penn Tower, 255 E. Beaver Ave., Alexander Court and Cedarbrook, the 300 block of E. Beaver Ave., put students in the middle of the downtown social life and shopping, while just being one block away from campus. My Opinion: Jill Leonard Real estate agents in State College's outskirts offer resort-like amenities to those willing to bus it to class.
It's a big university. Someone's got to furnish it.
The search for a suitable living mate can be frustrating for some students who don't have anyone to live with.
Life at Penn State is a lot like playing Penn Stateopoly — except students are less likely to land on Free Parking.
