Assault: A Penn State student reported he was assaulted at 4 a.m. Saturday near Beaver Hall, Penn State Police Services said. The student reported an unknown man grabbed his shoulders and kneed him in the lower abdominal area, Penn State police said. The man attempted to take the victim's wallet from his pocket but was unsuccessful.

The victim was treated and released from Centre Community Hospital the following day.

The incident is still under investigation, Penn State police said.
