Many Pennsylvania students were among the inaugural protesters who swarmed the nation's capital Saturday.

Icers' four straight shutouts not as easy as they might look

If Saturday gave the Penn State women's track team a glimpse of where they stand in the Big Ten, it liked what it saw.

The No. 9 Penn State men's volleyball team went into the Outrigger Hotels Invitational Tournament in Hawaii undefeated and left with a .500 record.

The women's swimming and diving team took a huge step forward Saturday. But, the major accomplishment is that it did it without ever falling behind.

Despite the less than perfect performance on the beam, the Nittany Lions beat New Hampshire by the score of 194.075 — 192.150, increasing its overall dual meet record to 2-0.

With a myriad of injuries to some top veterans, it was clear that somebody on the Penn State men's gymnastics team would have to step it up at the West Point Open.
