I am writing this letter concerning Chris Hartman's letter about WEHR. I am a DJ at the radio station, and I am disappointed that anyone would make such comments over the air or in general. I just want to let it be known that one DJ is not representative of the whole station.

The majority of the DJs at WEHR are hardworking students who do their job for fun. We do not get paid for what we do, and we DJ for the love of the job. Please don't stop listening to WEHR because of one student's ignorance.

Last night on my show, I received a phone call from a male listener who wished to dedicate a song to another male listener. My co-host and I played his song and dedication, no questions asked. I am truly sorry one of our hosts is so ignorant. He is not a good representation of what our station is about. I apologize to all listeners, students and anyone else who might have been offended by these comments.
