In The Family Man, Jack Campbell (Nicholas Cage) was living the high life . . . or so he thought. He was given the unique opportunity to get a glimpse of what his life could have been like had he made different choices.
Campbell falls asleep on Christmas Eve in luxury. He awakes the next morning in a small house in the New Jersey suburbs, married to his old flame Kate (Téa Leoni), with two kids.
Reminiscent of Ebenezer Scrooge's Christmas Eve, Campbell lives in this alternate reality until he begins to appreciate the life he could have had. His realization brings him back to his penthouse and a decision that could change his life forever.
Although it sported a predictable ending, The Family Man keeps audiences' attention with varied shots of sex appeal. Leoni offered a glimpse during a shower scene and Cage paraded around his penthouse in a pair of speedo-style shorts.
