'Dracula' a pain in the neck

Now that it's the year 2001, can we put Dracula 2000 out of its misery? The latest "Wes Craven Presents" might be more aptly named A Nightmare on Overdone Movies Street.

Not only has the movie industry already introduced us to many a version of the fanged count, but the unraveling of the plot in Dracula 2000 couldn't have been more predictable. When a group of attractive young thieves breaks into a human-skull-littered, spooky chamber in search of valuables, they find an old coffin, in which they hope to find the loot.

Might you guess what it actually contains?

The group stupidly releases Dracula (Gerard Butler) himself, who wreaks all kinds of havoc for the remainder of the movie and makes you wonder how your friends convinced you to pay money to watch it.
