A 42-year-old State College man was arrested Monday for threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend on the 100 block of E. College Ave., the State College Police Department said.
Doyle Heaton was charged with making terroristic threats, harassment and stalking and disorderly conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, Heaton's ex-girlfriend was walking along East College Avenue when Heaton drove by at about 4:40 p.m. Monday. Heaton stopped his car in traffic, pointed at the victim and yelled, "you're going to need a casket when I'm through with you," the report said.
He is also charged with violating a temporary Protection from Abuse order that had been issued and served earlier that day.
Heaton was arraigned at 9 p.m. Monday before District Justice Bradley Lunsford and placed in Centre County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday.
