As part of the sixteenth annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day national holiday, many students participated in service projects that were designed to help the community while spreading King's message.

Yesterday's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service evoked visions of multicultural tolerance and understanding in regard to sexual orientation as well as race.

The Penn State student taken by helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville following a traffic accident Sunday evening remained in critical condition yesterday.

A modern-day Robin Hood crept through the night last week to deliver a gift that will help the quarterless stay in touch — and perhaps set the phone companies back a few dollars.

Approximately 800 workers making college apparel — including Penn State sweatshirts — in a Kukdong International-Mexico factory staged a strike last Tuesday.
