Police Log

  • Harassment: Racial slurs, homophobic words, and other derogatory phrases were written on the message boards of four dorm rooms Monday, said Penn State Police Services.

    The four dorm rooms are located on the 10th floor of Pinchot Hall and occurred sometime between 9:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Penn State police are still investigating.

  • Theft: An in-dash car stereo and CD player and 40 CDs were taken from a car parked in the 1000 block of Plaza Dr., Sunday, State College Police Department said.

    The case is still under investigation, police said. The missing goods are valued at $930.

  • Theft: Two male students took a neon sign from Sports Café, 244 W. College Ave., State College Police Department said.

    The sign was in the shape of a Michelob beer bottle and is valued at $325 police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
