Arrest: State College resident Samuel Stacey was arrested Friday for the Dec. 31, 1999 theft of a 1986 Volvo from the Nittany Parking Deck, the State College Police Department said. Stacey was arraigned by District Justice Carmine Prestia, Jr., with bail set at $2,500. Stacey is currently incarcerated for charges of receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

Fire: A one room fire on Thursday night resulted in minor damage to clothes and a dresser at 427 E. Fairmont Avenue, State College police said. The police believe a candle caused the fire.

Theft: A Penn State student reported early Sunday morning the theft of a black leather jacket, a Motorola cell phone and cash at Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, 322 Fraternity Row, the State College police said. The estimated value of the items stolen is more than $250.
