Weather
Highlight
The major winter storm that battered
the California coast earlier this week is dumping snow in
the Sierra Nevada mountains. The southern portions of the
mountain range are expecting more than 30 inches. The
heavy snow, combined with winds of 30-40 mph, created
blizzard conditions and travel treacherous. Portions of
Interstate 5 had to be closed for a short time yesterday
because of whiteout conditions.
