James Ryan, Penn State's vice president for Outreach and Cooperative Extension, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.

Ryan has lectured and taught extensively on leadership, decision making and organizational change. He will be the only representative of Penn State to serve on the board this term.

Penn State Outreach and Cooperative Extension supports academic programs and colleges throughout the university.
