Police Log

  • Theft: A 1988 silver Chevy Beretta was reported stolen Monday from a parking lot on the 800 block of Southgate Dr., the State College Police Department said. There is no reported value.

  • Theft: A woman reported yesterday someone broke into her vehicle parked on the 700 block of Pike Street in Lemont sometime Monday night, State College police said. A cellular phone, 26 compact disks, an American Express gift card and a birth certificate were taken. The stolen items are valued at $975.

  • Burglary: A student reported Monday $2,450 worth of various items stolen from his Stuart Hall dorm room, Penn State Police Services said. The theft occurred sometime between Dec. 13 and Jan. 6.

  • Theft: A staff member reported yesterday 15 chairs were stolen from 316 and 317 Hammond sometime since Dec. 22, Penn State Police said. The chairs are valued at $2,100.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
