Police Log

  • Burglary: Someone stole $2,700 worth of items from the unlocked apartment of a 21-year-old Penn State student while he was sleeping early yesterday morning, State College Police Department said.

    The apartment, on the 700 block of Southgate Drive, was entered sometime between midnight and 3 a.m., police said.

    The stolen items included stereo components, CDs, DVDs, a Playstation game system and video games, a Nintendo game system and video games, video game accessories, a cell phone and a book bag.



In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
